By expanding access to high-quality education and creating stronger pathways from the classroom to meaningful careers, we can develop homegrown talent, meet the needs of growing industries, and make St. Louis a place where the next generation wants to learn, work, build, and stay.
I’ve worked to make higher education a catalyst for that future, helping secure $80 million to transform and modernize the UMSL campus and $15 million to establish a dedicated School of Engineering. These investments are about more than buildings — they’re about giving students greater opportunities while building the skilled workforce our region needs to compete for jobs, businesses, and investment.
