MEET BRIAN
Working Towards A Better Tomorrow

Senator Brian Williams represents Missouri’s 14th Senatorial District, serving the people of St. Louis County with a steadfast commitment to delivering results that strengthen our region and uplift every community. Since taking office in 2019, he has championed policies that drive job creation, improve education, expand healthcare access, and build safer, more connected neighborhoods.

Brian has been a leading voice for regional progress, securing millions in state funding for projects that spur economic growth and improve quality of life across St. Louis County. From investments in UMSL’s new Engineering program and its “Campus of the Future” initiative—training the next generation of innovators—to advancing regional workforce development programs, Brian’s focus is on preparing people for good-paying jobs and building long-term opportunities for local families.

He has also authored historic police reform legislation aimed at strengthening trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve, while promoting real public safety solutions for all. His leadership has expanded access to healthcare—delivering support for patients with sickle cell anemia, increasing mental health resources, and improving care for seniors. Brian co-sponsored Missouri’s property tax freeze for seniors and secured critical funding to clean up Kinloch, demolish the abandoned Jamestown Mall, and fight for fair education funding through his Youth Advisory Board and ongoing work to engage and empower young people.

With a proven record of turning bold ideas into results, Brian is focused on one mission: building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous St. Louis region where every neighborhood has the chance to thrive.

Outside of his legislative work, Brian leads the Construction Career Development Initiative, creating training and job opportunities for underserved youth. He also serves on the board of People’s Health Center, where he helped launch a behavioral health care center for children, and advises organizations including St. Louis Crisis Nursery, Simmons Bank, Nurses for Newborns, and Youth In Need. Brian and his family live in University City, where he remains deeply connected to the community he serves.
